Congratulations to the cast and crew of Oranges and Sunshine: the movie is up for seven awards in the AACTAs (formerly the AFI awards), including best supporting actor for Hugo (Encore). For his role in Oranges and Sunshine he has also been nominated at the IPA Satellite Awards (IPA).

The Sydney Theatre Company announced its 2012 season which will reunite Hugo with Pamela Rabe in Les Liasons Dangereuses (Sydney Morning Herald).

Hugo Weaving and Pamela Rabe will play the charismatic duo who manipulate with the precision and discipline of master puppeteers, deriving a pleasure from their spite that can only be surpassed by the pleasure of watching the deliciously wicked pair in action.
